A warm welcome to Leopold Boutique Hotel in the heart of Östersund! Here you will find a central hotel with an atmosphere that is hard to beat. It has high ceilings with spacious hotel rooms, large windows and bay windows. In the dining room, a tasty breakfast buffet is served in a classic turn-of-the-century spirit. In the lounge, guests can sit and relax and feel the wings of history.
We can promise you accommodation with a high cosiness factor and proximity to everything that the city center has to offer.

The property that Leopold Boutique Hotel is located in dates from 1914 and was built in Art Nouveau style. Ever since the building was built, some form of hotel business has been conducted on the 2nd floor. The first hotel that was located here was called Alma, which later changed its name to Britannia.
Our concept is to recreate the old feeling from the turn of the last century and we look forward to giving you as a guest a pleasant and nice stay in our beautiful Östersund.

Since October 1, 2025, Leopold Botique Hotel is part of Hotel Emma, ​​which is located directly across the street. As a result, a joint breakfast buffet is served at Wedemarks Konditori a few steps across the pedestrian zone to the left when you come out of the hotel's main entrance.

We are a pet-free hotel. If you want to bring your pet, Hotel Emma has dog rooms available. In such cases, call Hotel Emma on 063-517840 and they will help you.

Leopold Botique Hotel does not have its own reception and is mostly unmanned. Before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to enter the hotel and your room. This is done with codes. Hotel Emma has a reception open every day between 08:00 - 18:00 and can help you with any questions.

Our rooms

All our rooms are in the most center of the city

We have 7 rooms, all with their own toilet/shower. All in older style, with high ceilings and large windows facing the pedestrian street or towards lake Storsjön. Linen, towels and departure beds are included. When staying more than 5 nights, we clean the room and change linen on day 5.
